Why Home Assistant?

Can existing devices be integrated?
In most cases, yes. Home Assistant supports an enormous ecosystem of protocols and brands, and we can build a custom integration for anything that is not yet supported.
Do I need cloud services?
No. Home Assistant runs entirely on local hardware. Cloud services are entirely optional and only used for convenience features like secure remote access.
Can you migrate existing smart homes?
Absolutely. We regularly migrate homes from closed ecosystems to an open, local-first Home Assistant setup with minimal disruption.
How long does a typical installation take?
A standard residential installation typically takes one to three days, depending on the size of the home and the number of integrations required.
